The Windows 7 and 8 versions allow the users to restore the system to a good state. Windows automatically generates a system restore when installing or removing any application or drivers. You can easily create the system restore. Now let’s move to the solutions to generate and restore the system.

Steps to Create and Open Windows 8 System Restore

In the first step, we will tell you how to create a backup if Windows doesn’t create it automatically. After that, we will guide you to open a restore.

Step 1: How to Create Windows 8 System Restore?

  1. Go to the System Start button and open Control Panel.

  2. Then, click on System and Maintenance and then Backup and Restore.

  3. Now, pick one of the following;

  • If you upgraded your Windows or never used the Windows backup, then choose the Set up backup option and follow the on-screen steps.

  • If you have already created a backup and can wait for the scheduled backup to occur or manually create a backup, then choose the Backup Now option.

  • If the backup was created before and wants a new full backup rather than upgrading the older one, then choose to Create New, Full Backup and follow the on-screen steps.
